I always loved this fountain Mom had. It was so perfect for all the wildlife as it just formed a small bubble of water.

Moms words:  this cute Trio of Bushtits put on quite a bathing performance also : ) Love the white eyes on the one bushtit. Have recently read that the female Bushtits are the white-eyed ones, so had to alter the caption 🙂 Actually there were about 10 or more there bathing that day.

Hummingbird Carrying A Diamond in her feet while Hovering Over the Fountain

Another beautiful hummingbird picture. Mom sure had a talent with these ones. Love her description of the water droplet looking like a diamond. ❤️
Moms comment:  female hummingbird with a diamond drop between her tiny feet, as she hovers above the fountain droplets at our lilypond, front patio.
I love all the diamond drops close to her body also.
Amazing how the wing movement can hardly been seen as she hovers there.
Captured from the farther open front window, with telephoto lens.

i love this picture. Mom had a beautiful garden. I can just picture her sitting with her camera .. window open..waiting for the birds etc to show up. So happy she had so much pleasure from her photography hobby:)

Moms comment:

blue petals, raindrops and moss, beside and in our little lilypond. Captured from the open front window with telephoto lens as I was waiting for the hummingbirds to stop by 🙂
the blue flowers and petals are Johnson’s Blue geraniums (true geraniums) – otherwise known as Cranesbill. A perennial that gives us so much pleasure year after year.

Hummingbird-Whirling Wings

Moms words:
taken today from our front window, with my not so great telephoto/optical zoom : )
somehow managed to capture the wing movement in this one. you can see the pattern of the wing movement here, as the wings move in a circular motion, forwards and backwards. We have several hummers visiting our garden this year, – more than we ever recall. – so are really enjoying watching them feed here and chase each other around the patio and back garden. Incredible aerobatic stunts going on
